Phobias of any kind and severity afflict a large number of the population. In fact phobias are as common as flue.

When your phobia only raises its ugly head occasionally it is easy to ignore it, after all who likes owning up to weakness of any kind? It is far simpler to ignore it and pass it off as something that happens only on a bad day. And we all have those "bad" days now don’t we?
